Who owns the data sent through the API?
You do. Partners retain full ownership of all patient data transmitted to our API. Revive Intelligence processes patient data in memory and discards the payload after response — PHI is never persisted.

We retain partner configuration metadata (API keys, field mappings, access permissions) as required for service operation. We also retain aggregate, de-identified performance metrics (patients processed, response times, detection rates) that help us improve the service. No identifiable patient information is stored, and no patient-specific detail is retained that could be re-associated with individuals. Your underlying patient data stays yours.
Do you store any patient data?
No. Our detection API is stateless. Your payload is processed in-memory and discarded after response. We retain aggregate, de-identified performance metrics (patients processed, flags returned, response time) with zero PHI.
How are API keys issued and rotated?
Keys are generated when your partnership is provisioned. Rotation is on-demand via partner portal or support request. Previous keys remain valid for 24 hours after rotation to allow zero-downtime cutover.
What's the versioning policy?
Semantic versioning on the endpoint path. Breaking changes get a new version with a 12-month deprecation window on the prior version. Non-breaking additions are free.
What happens when an error occurs?
Structured error responses with machine-readable codes and human-readable messages. Retryable errors include a retry window. Non-retryable errors link to documentation.
Do you offer an SLA?
Yes. SLAs are available for production partners and are structured per partnership based on volume, use case, and criticality. Terms are negotiated before go-live.
How long does onboarding take?
Typical timeline from signed agreement to production access: 2-4 weeks. Includes BAA execution, API key provisioning, sandbox testing, and go-live review.
How is Care Recovery different from patient recall or CRM tools?
Patient recall systems schedule future visits based on calendar intervals. CRM tools send drip campaigns based on marketing automation rules. Care Recovery is clinical intelligence that detects specific incomplete treatment sequences — patients who started a course of care but never completed it. We surface the clinical gap, you decide what to do with it. It's detection infrastructure, not marketing software.
